3rd AU series

The 3^rd series is almost identical to the U.S. version except the AU set contains a different puzzle than the U.S. version. The series also contains several more back variations much like the U.K. set. The boxes for the AU and NZ series are similar except for the price window (white circle), and the wrappers are different.

1. Cards 92a "MARVIN Gardens" and 92b "Spittin’ SPENCER" have a Red Name Bar and Black Number...the name bars are yellow and numbers are white for the U.S. set. And, cards 93a "DREW Blood" and 93b "Bustin’ DUSTIN" have Green Name Bars like the U.K. set ... The name bars are light blue for the U.S. set.

2. Cards 118a "Half-NELSON" and 118b "Glandular ANGELA" have White Numbers, but the U.S. version has black numbers.

3. Besides the "Mugged MARCUS" and "Kayo’d CODY" puzzle, the other Puzzle Is not "Snooty SAM" and "U.S. ARNIE", but "JORDAN Nuts" and "Handy RANDY" from the U.S. 5th series. Who would want a U.S. political puzzle living Down Under?

4. Unlike the U.S. and U.K. sets, the Headers in the 3rd AU and NZ sets Are Placed Over The Artwork. Cards 87a/b "Hot Head HARVEY" and "ROY Bot", 90a/b "Stoned SEAN" and "Thick VIC", 95a/b "Grim JIM" and "BETH Death", 111a/b "Target MARGARET" and "Bullseye BARRY", and 115 a/b "Warmin' NORMAN" and "Well Done SHELDON/Well DON" (U.K.).

5. Cards 101a "Mushy MARSHA" and 101b "Basking ROBIN" and cards 124a "HUGH Mungous" and 124b "King-Size KEVIN" have Names In Black print rather than white print as the U.S. cards.

6. The Box And Wrapper Character is also the "JORDAN Nuts" character.

7. The Checklist Backs have the original "Garbage Pail Kids" title that remains for the 3rd and 4th series Garbage Gang checklists.The 2nd series checklist backs have the "GPK" title removed; "Garbage Gang" was never added.
