INTRODUCTION

     Sgorbions were printed by the Topps Italy Co., and released throughout Italy.  A total of four series, measuring slightly smaller than 2 1/2 X 3 1/2 inches, that are non-die cut (peeling from the edges), were produced with some back variations.  They have no "peel here" arrows. The cards come 5 to a wax pack.  The cards were released in 1990-1993 after the success of the Garbage Pail Kids in the U.S. and the U.K.  They are a direct reproduction of the France Les Crados cards.  There were also four extra sets produced, two 'Mega' sets, much like the U.S. 'Giant' set, a special 'Holidays' set which had metallic, clear, and regular stickers, plus transfers and tattoos, and an unnumbered "Stamp" set.

Excess stickers of various series were released in Super Sgorbions packs, sometimes referred to as 'Fun Packs' (pictured below). There are no wrapper codes on the packaging.
