     The numerical sequence of the Garbage Pail Kids were so screwed up by the 5th series that white numbered boxes were used to print over the U.S. numbering system.  Any numbers that were skipped over in the 3^rd and 4^th U.K. series were used in this series.  The 5^th U.K. series contains 58 cards from the 5^th U.S. series and 20 cards from the 6^th U.S. series added throughout the series to replace the 20 missing 5^th series cards used in the 4^th U.K. series.  The set was released in 1987 and contains 54 variations.  There is a difference between the two print runs.  The checklists in the first print run have two black bars over two names in the checklist and the wrapper has no "Topps" name or "stickers - 1 stick bubble gum" on the front.  The second print run does not have the black bars on the checklists, and the wrapper has the "Topps" name and "stickers - 1 stick bubble gum".

4. The Checklists Are Different for the two print runs.  The first print run has two Black Bars on the checklist where the numbers and names, 159b "Starchy ARCHIE" and 186a "Doughy JOEY", were blacked out. The second print run has the checklist without any black bars where the lines were deleted.
