The "All New" Series 1 GPK called "Gross Sticker Cards" were published in the late summer of 2004 by Topps Europe Ltd. (Merlin Stickers). A total of 1 print run was released during a resurrection of the 80's nostalgic GPK's in the U.S. with new releases. The U.K. GPK series is comprised of 37 images from the New 1st U.S. series and 11 images from the New 2nd U.S. series without any "a" or "b" twins. Plus, 10 foil cards from the New 1st U.S. series. Each paper pack contained 4 stickers, 1 foil card, and a slip of paper for a binder offer. Instead of the old cigarette-card size of earlier U.K. releases, often referred to as "mini", this set contains cards the same size (2.5 x 3.5 in) as the U.S. release. The foil cards are much brighter on heavier stock.

     1. The First U.K. GPK Set To Contain Non-Base Set Cards - foil card stickers, numbering from 1 - 10.

  2. The Series Contains Three "Scratch 'n Stink" Chase Cards From The New 2nd U.S. Series set placed within the set as regular cards without the scratch and stink affect. All three have slightly different variations from the original cards. The same occurs in the All New Series 1 Finland release as well.

3. Like prevous U.K. releases, The Set Has the 'PEEL HERE' Arrow Pointing To The Edge Of The Card where the entire face of the card is the sticker where as in the U.S. sets the cards are die-cut stickers.

4 . The Set Contains A 3-Part Checklist: 1/3 containing the names for the foil cards; 2/3 containing the names for the first 24 cards (numbering 1-24); and 3/3 containing the names for the last 24 cards (numbering 25-48). Checklist card 2/3:


5. Paper packs/Wrappers are Used instead of the old plastic packs/wrappers. No codes located on packs or boxes.

6. The Puzzle Borders Have No White Outline like the U.S. puzzles from the New 1st U.S. release, the 5 puzzles have a solid coloured border. The foil backs contain the "Completed Puzzle" pictures. Numerically, the first 9 cards of the series consist of the 1st puzzle, the next 9 cards are the 2nd puzzle and so on through card # 45 for the five puzzles, and the last three cards in the set contain the 3 different checklists.
